By now, you’re well aware that we stock the finest cigars from Cuba and the rest of the world in our humidors. This allows us to provide cigar aficionados with an unrivalled selection of premium cigars from leading brands such as Partagas, Cohiba, Davidoff, Romeo y Julieta and many others.
You can also buy a wonderful selection of unusual cigars online or in store, and when we say unusual, we don’t mean the cigars are shaped oddly or have strange names; no, these cigars are unusual in an individual sense, and that is certainly not a bad thing!
Below you will find five cigars all with a slightly different quality to many cigars on the market. Whether that’s through the tasting profile, the way the tobacco was cured, the wrapper or filler or simply a one-off sizing from the brand, check them out below and don’t forget to pop in to one of our shops or visit us online for all your cigar and accessory needs.
Coming in a Double Corona measuring 7 1/2” x 49 ring gauge and blended by none other than Rocky Patel before being manufactured in Nestor Plasencia’s Honduran factory, Fire by Indian Tabac has quickly gained a reputation and cult following for packing a lot of flavour into a very cost-efficient cigar.
The line has been praised for its powerful, “Cuban-esque” flavour and is even a favourite of Rocky Patel himself, who says the cigar is best enjoyed “after a great, huge steak.”
The Swag South Beach Lavish Robusto measuring 5” x 54 ring gauge was made for those that are the life and soul of the party, and was aptly named after the non-stop party and infamous lifestyle of Miami’s South Beach.
This cigar is considered a “microbatch cigar” and will ensure you are the one with something unique at the next cigar herf!
It’s a medium-full strength cigar which boasts a slightly citrusy aroma and is spicy, yet slightly sweet on the palate. It is a true Puro Dominicana with its medium brown Dominican grown Habano wrapper and Dominican filler and binder.
The NUB Sungrown 464 Cigar from Nicaragua is a very heady cigar with a full and robust flavour. The cigar is very stout, in that it has a very thick ring gauge and a relatively short length measuring 4” x 64 ring gauge.
This leads to a powerful and intense draw that exudes spicy notes on the palate, with this sun grown cigar best enjoyed on warm days when grilling meat on the BBQ whilst sipping on a cold beer.
We can guarantee you won’t have seen a cigar quite like the Filthy Hooligan, with the limited-edition smoke acting as an offshoot of the company’s Black Market line.
Measuring in at 6” x 50 ring gauge and compromising of a dark, candy cane-style Nicaraguan wrapper interwoven with shamrock-coloured Honduran candela leaf, the Hooligan was brought back by popular demand, and once smoked, you will see exactly why!
Ashton and Arturo Fuente have once again teamed up to create a flavour packed, medium-bodied cigar that nearly never was. Delays were caused after a fire broke out in Fuente’s factory, but this only motivated the Fuentes more to deliver another 90+ rated masterpiece.
The first line released under the Ashton name since the Estate Sun Grown hit the shelves in 2006, it’s the first Ashton-branded cigar to contain Nicaraguan tobacco, which creates a cigar that delights the senses.
