We have some exciting news for cigar fans in the UK, with the brand RoMa Craft now in stock. An exclusive to Havana House, we are lucky enough to have been selected as the only place in the UK where these fantastic cigars can be bought. Currently, we have five cigars from this brand on offer; both as a single stogie or boxes of 24 or 30. We take a look at these fantastic new cigars, and what you can expect from them!
Havana House will now be home to cigars from two of the series RoMa Craft have on offer. Firstly, there are the CroMagnon Aquitaine cigars, which sees a long-filler blend of Nicaraguan tobacco and a binder from Cameroon combined together with an Ecuador Habano Ligero wrapper. With smoky and spicy properties, this exotic smoke is rich and deep, and provides an incredible texture and taste. We have two of the biggest from this bunch on offer, with the Anthropology, a 5 ¾ x 46 Grand Corona, and the Cranium,a 6 x 54 Gran Toro.
Also on offer are cigars from the Intemperance range, which was the first release from RoMa Craft. The range includes the EC XVIII Virtue (a 4 1/2 x 52 Short Robusto) and the EC XVIII Charity (a 4 x 46 Petito), which are both made using an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, filled with a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic tobacco with a binder from Indonesia. While a little on the shorter side of the cigar spectrum, these stogies burn slowly with a perfect draw, allowing you to get a great deal of enjoyment from the smaller stick.
The Intemperance range also includes the BA XXI Intrigue (a 4 x 46 Petito), which is made using the same binder and filler as the Virtue and Charity cigars only with a Brazil Arapiraca wrapper. A medium strength cigar with a fuller flavour, the Intrigue is leathery and sweet and will certainly pique your interest! Intemperance means lack of restraint or moderation, and that is certainly how you will feel after sampling these cigars – wanting another!
There is more to come in this brand’s future though, with the CRAFT 2018 recently announced. The first from this series since 2014, the new addition to the Craft collection is a 5×60 figurado, using filler from Nicaragua, Pennsylvania and the Dominican Republic. Two wrappers are used for the new stogie, with the Pennsylvania broadleaf Maduro making up the bulk of the wrapper, and the Ecuadorian Connecticut “dark candela” leaf adding decoration to the top and bottom of the cigar. Fans of the brand should certainly keep their eye out for the release, as only 2,000 boxes of ten will be available in this limited run.
The RoMa Craft cigars will be available in all of our stores, or you can buy the cigars online here at Havana House!
