What to Expect from a Cuban Mini Cigar

Cuban Minis are machine-made in Cuba using 100% tobacco harvested from plantations in the Vuelta Abajo region of the island, which is widely regarded as the finest tobacco-growing land in the world.

Despite being machine-made, the underlying flavours and aromas of the prestigious Habanos brands they represent are faithfully recreated with these Cuban mini cigars. Not just any product gets to wear these iconic cigar bands, after all.

Cuban Mini Cigar Sizes Explained

There are various sizes of mini Cuban cigar available: Minis, Clubs, Puritos, and Shorts. These are all largely comparable to what we would call a cigarillo, albeit with some slight differences in length and ring gauge.

Minis are the smallest Cuban cigarillos available, while Puritos are the biggest. Shorts are a similar length to Minis but with a wider ring gauge, while a Club is longer than a Short but with a smaller ring gauge.

Despite these variations, all Cuban mini cigars tend to take from 10 to 20 minutes to smoke, making them perfect for those short alfresco smoking breaks when time does not permit a handmade Habano to be enjoyed in full.
