Cuban Regional Edition Cigars

Debuted in 2005, the Regional Editions are a series of cigars that are released exclusively by Habanos S.A. for the specific regional markets. There are numerous Regional Editions that have been released in countries across the world with the UK fortunate enough to have their own limited edition. These cigars are typically available for purchase for roughly 24 months after release and there are strict rules in place to ensure that distributors do not sell to customers outside of the region within the first 12 months of that timeframe.
After the initial 24 month period, Habanos S.A. has the chance to take the editions to regular production and continue manufacturing the cigars for the broader world market, or to discontinue the production creating a limited supply. The Regional Editions of cigars will also come with a custom band that states the year and region of production, resulting in a much-desired collector’s item.
