A night of Romeo y Julieta Aged Cigars and Hine Cognac. Cuban tobacco aged for more than 10 years. One of the country’s most iconic cigars, named after Winston Churchill. Put the two together and you have the latest in Cuba’s line of aged cigars, the Romeo y Julieta Churchill Añejados Tubos. Habanos S.A. announced the new cigar will soon be shipping to global markets, packed in boxes of 25, with each cigar presented in a tube. Known in factories as a Julieta No. 2, the 7 inch by 47 ring gauge Churchill size has always been one of the benchmarks in the Cuban cigar portfolio. This is the second time the size has been released in this aged series, which now has six cigars in total. Bernard Hine and Nicholas Freeman, the late Chairman of UK Havana Cigar Importers Hunters & Frankau, combined their lifetime knowledge and passion for fine Cognac and the very best cigars to produce this rich and distinctive cognac. Aged for over 12 years in the Hine cellars in Jarnac, its depth and complexity are the perfect accompaniment to a fine handmade cigar. Blended with over 20 eaux de vie coming from the following 4 growths of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois grapes. This is an impressive and well balanced Cognac crafted to pair with a handmade Havana cigar but with more than enough subtlety and complexity to be enjoyed on its own. This event comes to you at fantastic value as the cigar costs £38.95 and you’ll be trying a cognac that is £100 for a bottle. We will also have offers on the night on cigars and cognac.
