The EP Carrillo New Wave Reserva, a part of the Elite Series, was originally revealed to cigar aficionados at the Inter-Tabac Cigar Show in Dortmund, Germany in 2014 and it’s a revamped version of the popular, New Wave Connecticut blend. EP Carrillo, who has more than 20 years experience in the cigar business including being the man in charge of La Gloria Cubana brand, took his time to blend this unique and high-quality Connecticut cigar just right in his own factory in the Dominican Republic. The Elite Series New Wave Reserva uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Connecticut broadleaf binder and a filler blend from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
