Hauser Bavarian Longpipe
This traditional Bavarian Longpipe has been made by Hauser. A famous company from a famous place, the Solingen region of Germany. Porcelain pipes have been made in this style since the 1700’s, running as the main rival to clay pipes. At the time Bavaria was not only home to the best pipes but was also responsible for tobacco imports. The Bavarian tobacco industry was intergral to the mercantilist plan to recapitalise state finaces and reconstruct the realm with the help of economic reforms. As a result, the region became synonymous with producing the best tobacco products, particuluarly pipes.
