Montecristo Cigar Selection
The Montecristo cigar selection allows you to sample three of the most iconic Cuban cigars ever made. The case features the 6 swords, which are a reference to the novelette – The Count of Monte Cristo. The rare and unique leather case is only available through the selection and are not sold separately.
Montecristo No.2 (6 1/8 x 52) – This cigar is perhaps the most infamous smoke the world has ever seen. At the time that it was first sampled by Cigar Aficionado, the cigar achieved a record-creaking high score of 96 points out of 100. Of course, nowadays such a score is no longer as mind blowing. The torpedo has so much character and has helped to define the tastes that have become quintessential of the Montecristo brand. The No. 2 is commonly thought of as the best line of cigars ever made. A gold standard for all other cigars to be judged against.
Montecristo Petit No.2 (4 3/4″ x 52) – The Petit No.2 is like the little brother of the world’s best cigar mentioned above. The draw is magnificient, the tobacco has been blended almost perfectly and the construction is something that an architect would be proud of. This is a great cigar if you have a little less time on your hands for the full No. 2
Montecristo Petit Edmundo (4 3/8 x 52) – The Petit Edmundo is arguably a much finer cigar than even the Edmundo itself, which is considered a real masterpiece of a smoke. The cigar is short yet retains the ring gauge of it’s older sibling, leading to a more intense smoke. A cigar that should be smoked when we cigar aficionados wish to treat ourselves.
