Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro – Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro is a box-pressed torpedo, measuring 6″ x 52. A stunner of a cigar cloaked in a velvety, rich brown wrapper. The binder and filler are also Nicaraguan, but any further details about the blend are kept strictly hush-hush. What won’t be a secret, however, is the ride this cigar will give your taste buds. It begins with notes of chocolate, coffee, red pepper, and earth. Mid smoke, the pepper subsides, and the chocolate and earth notes take center stage. By the end of the smoke, the pepper returns along with a hint of sweet cedar. The fine balance of sweet, spice and earth notes, along with an ideal burn rate and temperature, all made for a highly pleasurable and harmonious smoke.

La Galera Anemoi Boreas Corona Extra Cigar – Despite not being thought of as essential, the winds play a vital role in the growing of tobacco. They instruct the La Galera family, by way of their direction, of the best spaces in which to grow tobacco. The Greeks, geniuses in their own right, also understood the importance of wind. The collective name of their wind gods is Anemoi. The northern wind was named Boreas. The southern wind was christened Notus. The eastern wind was baptized Eurus, and Zephyrus was reserved for the western wind. Each wind’s direction gave the Greeks an idea of whether to expect a good crop or to brace for a bad season. They considered paying their respects to these ubiquitous forces, appropriate. The Dominican Republic is no exception to the influence of these winds. They researched the Boreas, Notus, Eurus, and Zephyrus in the natural habitat of their tobacco.
