The Sagrada Familia Cigar Selection
The Sagrada Familia Cigar Selection includes some the most versatile cigars that are great for many occassions. Cubans and non-Cubans, full bodied cigars and mild smokes, even long smokes and short smokes. All the following cigars are true works of art.
Ramon Allones Specially Selected – A full flavoured, full strength, spicy and woody tasting cigar. Although the Ramon Allones is full strength it is never aggressive and the aroma is more subtle than one would expect.
Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No.2 – It lacks the strength of the Cohibas, but it is superior to the Upmanns. Mild flavours at first, blended nicely into a complex finish. Excellent.
Bolivar Royal Corona– Símon says this is a full flavoured, full strength, leathered and cedar tasting cigar. Although the Bolivar is full strength it is never too much and the aroma is toned down…this cigar is pure elegance and a must smoke for any cigar fan.
Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 Cameroon Special Edition Box-Pressed – It was at the 2011 IPCPR Trade Show, where the original rounded Vintage 2003 Cameroon was launched as Rocky Patel’s fourth entry into its Vintage Series. This proved to be an outstanding release as it finished as our #15 Cigar of 2011. For the Vintage 2003 Cameroon Special Edition Box-Pressed, the blend will be the same as the round. core line Vintage 2003 Cameroon. The Vintage 2003 Special Edition Box-Pressed was launched at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show along with six other new blends by Rocky Patel Premium Cigars. I recently have had a chance to smoke this new line extension and found this to be a solid addition to the Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 Cameroon series.
La Galera Habano Chaveta – Well known for growing well-regarded tobacco and producing acclaimed cigars, José “Jochy” Blanco of Tabacalera Palma had never had his own brand, one that bore his name and the name of his family’s factory, until just recently.
When Blanco acquired the Indianhead brand in October 2015, he said that it would also spur the release of his first brand, a pair of blends released under the La Galera brand. Both would use a Dominican corojo binder with a filler blend of Dominican piloto cubano, criollo 98 and pelo de oro, with one blend getting an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and the other getting an Ecuadorian habano wrapper. With the exception of the wrappers, all the tobacco was grown by Blanco.
Partagas Serie D No.4 – Is the classic Robusto format, always in our top ten Cubans. The Partagas is a sensible, medium bodied cigar, packed with plenty of cedar and leather flavours…with a dash of sweetness more noticeably there as the smoke progresses. Great for any occasion. An all time classic.
