The ultimate cigar aficionados experience is back and better than ever after a ten-year hiatus. Camacho Cigars announced the return of Camp Camacho late last year, and the trip dates are almost upon us, running between February and April 2018. It’s not too late to get involved though, as tickets are still available.
Having opened a new guest house near to their recently opened manufacturing facility, Diadema Cigars de Honduras S.A. in Danlí, Honduras, the company has established a new tour program like no other. With a four-day, three-night endeavour planned, you’ll be taken on a tour of the factory, visit the tobacco fields where your favourite leaves are grown, experience a blending session, and try your hand at rolling some stogies yourself. If all of that isn’t exciting enough, then there is also a day dedicated to exploring and zip-lining over La Tigra National Park.
There are fourteen such trips jetting off to Honduras throughout February and April of this year. Set in the heart of Honduras’ tobacco region, you’ll feel right at home in the 11 bedroom guesthouse, that fits up to twenty guests, with its additional features including a full bar, full-service kitchen and lounges with flat-screen TVs. There’s even a large outdoor veranda area, ideal for sitting back and relaxing with a Camacho cigar. The perfect place to meet up and bond with like-minded cigar lovers!
Other activities planned for the duration of the trips include a BBQ cookout, rum & cigar pairing, and the opportunity to build your own custom Camacho cigar!
“Camp Camacho is an experience that not only grows your appreciation for premium cigars, it is also a platform that forges lifelong friendships,” states Dylan Austin, the Vice President of marketing for Davidoff of Geneva USA, continuing, “Once you’ve been to Camp Camacho, you become part of the brotherhood forever. It’s a truly remarkable and exhilarating adventure for anyone who is passionate about cigars.”
This year, the trips will begin on 7th February and end on 7th April. There are 14 individual trips, each with the ability to host 18 guests. The cost per person for the trip is $650, plus a booking fee, which includes the lodging, ground transportation, experiences, food, beverages, and all of the cigars you smoke while in Honduras!
