We have a new selection pack in store, and it’s certainly one that is going to appeal to any cigar lover who also shares a love of film as our new James Bond ‘007 Cigar Selection’, boasting an exciting and wide range of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Cuban cigars that are sure to delight stogie lovers up and down the country.
In the 1999 Bond film ‘The World is not Enough’ Bond finally gets the chance to enjoy a cigar when he is offered a Romeo Y Julieta Churchill in the Swiss bank in Bilbao. Unfortunately he doesn’t get to savour this beautiful cigar as, in true Bond fashion, a fight breaks out. The Swiss banker, who smokes a Churchill as well, holds on to his, even after falling on the ground and held at gunpoint, he holds on to his stogie, showing just how delicious those tasting notes are!

The ‘007 Cigar Selection’ includes some the industry’s most versatile and revered cigars that are great for any occasion; Cubans and non-Cubans, full bodied cigars and lighter more mild smokes, long smokes that are perfect for a summer BBQ and short smokes, which are more suited to accompanying your morning coffee on a terrace.
The selection includes:
A full flavoured, full strength, spicy and woody tasting cigar. Although the Ramon Allones is full strength, it is never aggressive, and the aroma is more subtle than one would expect, allowing you to savour the individual flavour notes. You can enjoy this smoke during the day or with a meal; this Ramón Allones will impress you with its build, its smoothness and its ripe fullness on the palate and the nose.
The Hoyo De Monterrey No.2 is crisp, fruity and flavourful with a complexity that makes this cigar a real joy all year around regardless if you’re outdoors or have the luxury of smoking indoors in your man cave! Mild flavours at first, blended nicely into a complex finish, this is a fantastic cigar at any time!
Ashton VSG Illusion
The VSG is blended exclusively for Ashton by the legendary Carlos Fuente Jr. using 4 to 5-year-old aged tobacco taken from the finest and most fertile plants in the Dominican Republic. The distinct flavour of VSG comes from the wrapper grown on a private estate in Ecuador, by the Oliva family.
La Galera Habano Chaveta
José “Jochy” Blanco of Tabacalera Palma had never had his own brand, one that bore his name and the name of his family’s factory, until just recently where he put his reputation for growing well-regarded tobacco and producing acclaimed cigars to good use.
He acquired the Indianhead brand in October 2015, before releasing his first blends under the La Galera brand. Both use a Dominican Corojo binder with a filler blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano, Criollo 98 and Pelo de Oro, with one blend getting an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and the other getting an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme
This is in the classic Robusto format, with the El Rey being a sensible, light bodied cigar, which boasts a delightful flavour profile of cedar, leather and charcoal flavours, with a dash of black pepper as you progress into the final third. Great for any occasion, this is one stogie that has a “licence to thrill”… sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves!
