A smart packaging job for this distillery-bottled expression of Benromach 10yo, which has been a big hit since its introduction in late 2009. Well done to G&M for making the standard release strength 43%. n nNOSE nToffee and butterscotch with hints of liquorice and green apple. nPALATE nThe liquorice and green apple continue from the nose, joined by a maltiness, smoke and spicy cardamom and white pepper. nFINISH nWarming, with the fruit and spice slowly dissipating to leave a delightful malty smokiness.
