History of Quorum Cigars

Quorum is a value-based cigar brand created by J.C. Newman, one of America’s biggest cigar producers and importers. They’re a great example of bundle cigars – sticks sold in packs (instead of boxes) that are traditionally cheaper than most premium smokes due to various cost-saving measures.

Quorum are Nicaraguan cigars, coming from a J.C. Newman factory in the renowned Esteli region and using tobaccos grown in the rich local soils. Much of their production is just as you’d expect from a high-end premium cigar, including all of them being beautifully handrolled to ensure a great draw.

One of the main ways Quorum cigars keep their costs down is by using a combination of premium long filler and cheaper short fillers, known as a ‘Cuban sandwich’. This is a common feature amongst the value hand-rolled cigars, but so long as it’s expertly blended as it is here, it still delivers a great smoking experience.

Quorom cigars are designed as everyday smokes, so they generally fall in the light to medium-bodied ranges. Their flavours are not as punchy or deep as you’d get on more premium cigars, but there’s still a smooth draw and notes of classic tobacco flavours that will keep smokers happy.

Quorum cigars come in three varieties: Classic, Maduro and Shade. The Quorum Shade offers the lightest smoking experience, perfect for beginners or those wanting a lighter morning smoke.
