History of La Galera Cigars

La Galera is the brainchild of the legendary José “Jochy” Blanco, the man in charge of Tabacalera Palma, one of the Dominican Republic’s most esteemed tobacco farms and factories. After decades of helping other brands to produce premium cigars, in 2016, he launched his own in La Galera.

Named after the Spanish word for the cigar rolling room, La Galera was designed to honour Jochy’s decades of experience through delicate aged tobacco blends and expert rollers that ensure a fantastic experience with every stick.

With consistently popular blends, La Galera’s range has ballooned over the years. Now, there are vitolas, wrappers and bodies to suit almost all tastes, all still made with the finest Dominican tobaccos.
