A rare selection of three fantastic Year of the Releases. If you weren’t aware of the trend, you might think a secret agreement exists among numerous manufacturers to release cigars in recent years with names and packaging inspired by the Chinese Zodiac calendar. While not the first brand to introduce a Zodiac-themed cigar an honour belonging to the Davidoff Zodiac Series, which launched in 2012 with the Year of the Dragon Plasencia announced late last year that it would join the growing list of cigar makers embracing this theme. This list includes not only Davidoff but also Drew Estate, Great Wall, Habanos S.A., and VegaFina.
