The Prime Picks Cigar Selection includes:
Sixty by Rocky Patel Robusto Cigar (5 1/2″ x 50)
For his 60th birthday, cigar entrepreneur Rocky Patel crafted the Sixty by Rocky Patel to not only celebrate his milestone birthday, but to share his passion for tobacco, and the fine craft of cigarmaking with aficionados. The tobaccos used for this commemorative stick have been aged for at least six years prior to rolling. Once rolled, the cigars were allowed to age for a minimum of two years so that their flavors could marry. Rocky and his team of expert blenders went through 145 different combinations before finally settling on the ideal blend for the Sixty. This specially selected blend features a delicious, dark chocolatey, oily Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper that envelops a binder and filler made of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Sixty offers a smooth, balanced smoking experience with a rich complexity you will want to savor on special occasions or just because. The Sixty by Rocky Patel is handmade at Rocky’s Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. (TAVICUSA) in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Plasencia Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Robustus II Cigar (5 1/8 ” x 55)
The 5 ⅛ x 55 Robusto is an extension of the existing Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro line. This is the first vitola in the line that is round, as opposed to box pressed. The Colorado Claro wrapper, which comes from the Plasencia tobacco library, was aged 10 years.
Partagas Series D No.4 Cigar (4 7/8″ x 50)
When we think power, we think Partagas, and the Partagas D No.4 is full of the Partagas power that we all search for in a format which just seems right. The D No.4 Robusto is one of the top selling Havanas, strong and full bodied, exploring aromas of wood and spice in equal doses. Colorado to Maduro with wrapper but always constructed to perfection, this is a Cuban classic. A true connoisseur’s cigar!
Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill Cigar (5″ x 50)
The Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill cigar is the smaller version of the Churchill yet still larger than the Petit Churchill. Just like the original, this cigar is full of flavour, has a very consistent draw and never tires or becomes bitter. Unlike the other Churchills, the small carries more fruity flavours with hints of cherries and vanilla whilst still retaining the earthy notes reminding you that it is a classic Romeo y Julieta blend. It is advised to let this cigar age for a few years before you decide to give it a smoke.
The prime cigar selection comes in a special humidified pouch with Havana House Long Cigar Matches and a German made Havana House single action guillotine Cigar Cutter.
