This high-end aromatic from Thomas Radford is a good blend for beginners but can be equally enjoyed by a seasoned smoker. Although mild in strength, the taste of double-fermented Black Cavendish and Virginia tobaccos comes through clearly, enhanced by sweet fruit casing – predominantly raisins.

The wild cut – plenty of large pieces of lighter shade leaf mixed with much smaller bits of light Virginia and Black Cavendish – is pleasing to the eye. The smell from the pouch, with hints of ripe fruit and vanilla, is sweet and enticing.

The tobacco is easy to light and burns well, though may get rather hot. There is not much risk of a tongue bite, unless chugging away too hard.

To round off the experience, Sunday’s Fantasy has a most pleasant room note.
