What’s new in-store?

At Havana House, we pride ourselves on our extensive range of the world’s finest cigars and accessories, as well as more niche items such as delicious rum and whisky, and shaving equipment.

Over the last few days our customers have been leaving our shops with an even bigger smile than usual; no, it’s not due to the fantastic weather we have been having, but the new items in the humidor and on the shelves!

We have looked at four of our favourite new items in-store, which you can see below:

Nicaraguan Cigar Selection with Hardback Book

The Nicaraguan Cigar Selection is a fantastic addition to any aficionado’s collection and comes with a hardback book called ‘Cigaragua’ that details the country behind some of the world’s finest stogie’s due to its climate, fertile soil and the people who the make great cigars.

Unrivalled for their creativity and uniqueness, La Flor Dominicana has outshone themselves with their latest release.

Their expert cigar rollers have used various wrappers to form an artistic design on the company’s signature 7 x 64 Salomon Vitola, named the La Flor Dominicana Salomon Unico. The cigars are made by one solitary person in their famed La Flor Dominicana factory with each beautifully and uniquely wrapped, with you being able to choose from 10 cigars. Be quick with these as they are in limited supply and are much sought after.

Montecristo Dantes Cigar Limited Edition 2016

The long and eagerly awaited Montecristo Dantès cigar has finally landed in our humidor after a two-month delay, and boy, were they worth the wait!

The Dantès is a 2016 Limited Edition that is presented in SBN boxes that contain 10 cigars, each dressed with the Edition Limitada second band. The cigar is a Hermoso No.1  that measures 6⅝” x 48 ring gauge and the Dantès will be the first cigar of this vitolato to be represented in the iconic Montecristo marque, using specially selected tobacco leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone which are all then aged for a minimum of two years.

Interestingly, the Dantès was named after Edmundo Dantès, the lead character of Alexandre Dumas 1844 novel The Count of Monte Cristo which proved to be the inspiration for the name of the brand back in the 1930’s when the novel was read to and enjoyed by the torcedors.
