Rocky Patel’s new ‘Nicaraguan Vintage Line’

Rocky Patel cigars are introducing a new blend to their esteemed ‘Vintage’ line, with the new addition set to delight cigar aficionado’s the world over, and further solidify Rocky Patel’s reputation as one of the world’s leading cigar makers.

The ‘Rocky Patel Vintage 2006 San Andreas’ will be the newest addition to his Vintage Series and will launch in August after being made by their expert torcedors at Rocky’s boutique Nicaraguan factory, TaviCusa.

The factory is based in the esteemed Esteli region and is the home of their Sun Grown Maduro, Royale. It was also  home to the 15th Anniversary stogies before they were given the task of rolling the incredible 11-year-old Mexican wrapper with a tobacco blend consisting of Nicaraguan fillers along with a Connecticut broadleaf binder. They did this to channel the spice and complexity of the mature San Andrés tobacco. The blend was conceived by Rocky himself, and the result is a luxury cigar that is full-bodied with a leathery, rich finish.

The Nicaraguan Vintage line will come in the following prices:

Rocky Patel Vintage 2006 San Andreas Robusto measuring 5 ½” x 50 ring gauge — £7.95 per cigar or boxes of 20, £149.95.

Rocky Patel Vintage 2006 San Andreas Toro measuring 6 ½” x 52 ring gauge — £7.95 per cigar or boxes of 20, £159.95.

Rocky Patel Vintage 2006 San Andreas Churchill measuring 7” x 48 ring gauge — £7.95 per cigar or Boxes of 20, £159.95.

Rocky Patel Vintage 2006 San Andreas Sixty measuring 6” x 60 ring gauge — £9.50 per cigar or boxes of 20, £185.95.

The new stogie has headed in a new direction since the 1990, 1992, 1999, and 2003 Vintage Series, all of which were handmade in Honduras, boasting a strength profile ranging from mild to medium. The new cigar marks the fruition of Rocky’s dream to create a new Vintage brand, one that reached beyond the previous Honduran norm… well, it looks like he succeeded!

The new line will debut at the 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, on July 11^th, and begin shipping to English shores in August.
