Today, the Cohiba Majestuosos 1966 humidors are ready to hit the shelves in Switzerland, following an announcement from Intertabak AG, which is responsible for the distribution of Habanos S.A. products in the country. This highly anticipated release comes after the cigar was first presented, almost a year ago, during the Festival del Habano XVIII.
Each available humidor features twenty cigars, each measuring 5 9/10 inches long, with a 58 ring gauge and a vitola called Majestuosos 58; a new addition to the Habanos portfolio.
Initially produced as part of the Cohiba cigar brand’s 50th anniversary, alongside the limited edition 7 x 60 Cohiba 50 Aniversario cigar, which was presented in a humidor decorated with a 24-karat gold-plated tobacco leaf. Only 1966 of these new Cohiba Majestuosos 1966 humidors will be available, and are being sold in Switzerland for 4400 Swiss francs, or £3317.
