Add a new smoking experience to your life with a Dunhill White Spot Pipe

Alfred Dunhill opened his tobacco shop in Duke Street, London in 1907, with the pipes being sold at this time being acquired from individual pipe makers. Mr Dunhill was not happy with the quality of these pipes and set up his own workshop in the same vicinity as his store and this was the beginning of Dunhill pipes.

It wasn’t until 1912 that Mr Dunhill was prepared to release his creation with the public, and this is when he introduced his White Spot Dot, where he showed his staff as well as his high-end clientele the correct way of positioning the mouth-piece on his Dunhill pipes.

This new repositioning and mark would be synonymous as a sign of recognition for a wide range of his products, an internationally registered trademark and the ultimate accolade of highest workmanship and quality.

The symbol has now been here for over a 100 years of unbroken tradition, with the Dunhill products today still continuing Alfred Dunhill’s drive for perfection by continuing the same manufacturing methods and strict quality criteria commanded by Alfred Dunhill. As a result Dunhill pipes create some of the best pipes and accessories in the world.

Havana House stocks a large range of these pipes and below you will find some of our favourites.
