Villiger North America opens new headquarters

Villiger North America celebrated their relaunch with the opening of their new headquarters in Miami, Florida.

The invitation only event was hosted by Heinrich Villiger and North American President Rene Castaneda and featured distinguished faces from the cigar industry such as Guillermo Leon of La Aurora, Alejandro Martinez Cuenca of Joya De Nicaragua, Carlos Torano Sr. of the famed Torano cigar family, Felix Mesa of Galan Cigars, Scott Chester of ACID Cigars, Albert Montserrat of Cigar Rings and Kris Kachaturian, formerly of A.J. Fernandez Cigars.

Mr Villiger used his speech to reinforce his commitment to the North American market, thanking colleagues, family, friends and the new North American team. He was also presented with a certificate by Doral City Officials before the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

The lucky guests were also gifted three cigars: A Villiger 1888 and two private stock unbranded cigars by La Aurora and Joya de Nicaragua as well as a cocktail reception featuring delicious cocktails courtesy of Zafra Rum, Jack Daniel’s, Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack, Jack Honey, Korbel Champagne, and Finlandia Vodka.

Rene Castaneda had this to say at the event:

”The launch event was a great success, and only a sneak preview of what’s to come. I look forward to working alongside Mr. Villiger, CEO Robert Suter, and Managing Director Michael Blumendeller to expose the Villiger brand to the consumer. We look forward to future exciting announcements in the near future.”
